Unless you take into account Last Order where, at that moment, Cloud's eyes have the same Mako shine as Sephiroth (maybe even stronger) without him being in SOLDIER, so no Mako, and before Hojo did his crap, so no Jenova cells. My guess would be his father was someone immensely strong and he inherited it, but we won't find out unless it's in Crisis Core. And in FFVII Cloud did say "My father died when I was very young."

Not just the computer stuff (there's not a lot of that which i snoticable, which is good), but the 'magical' characters are unbelievably well done. I woulnd't have thought the faun was a costume (even the legs!)
