To be honest, there were a LOT of translation errors in the original FFT. If you see a lot of changes in the upcoming remake, know that they are fixes to the horrendous translation job done on the original FFT.

Cursed: Feh. Is FFX-2 even neccesary to play? Are there cliffhangers in FFX that can only be fulfilled by FFX-2? It's not necessary. There isn't any kind of cliffhanger in the FFX ending that made it worthy of sequel. In fact, Square only made an FFX-2 because of how popular and successful FFX was. The story is bland, battle system is alright. If you like Yuna and Rikku, then you'll like the game. But, if you're looking to play a magical journey like FFX, you've got the wrong game.
