dragonmaster980: you might want to keep the PS2 because the PS3 can't take PS2 memory cards and you don't want to have start all over on Dragon Quest 8: Journey of the Cursed King If you buy a memory card adapter, you can just transfer the saves over from your PS2 memory cards to your PS3. You can buy a used memory card adapter for about $7-10 and you only need it once. Once you are done using it, you can just sell it.
