Deeman: Agreed. But Peter did go a bit far by taunting Isaac while he was invisible. I have a feeling Isaac wanted to get rid of Peter because of Simone, then again, maybe he also wanted to save the world. All I know is that Peter was showing Isaac what he was capable of.
I highly doubt Peter will go to the Dark Side. Like I-D said, he is a human being, with emotions and feelings; and with those, he triggers certain powers.
