There’s a secret way to crash your entire copy of Mario Kart DS. You basically just select the Luigi’s Mansion course and on the stairs at the start, you hold A and B at the same time and move around. This will cause the entire game to freeze and the music will repeat on the same note you crashed on, leaving you to reset the game.

The final lap versions of the track themes aren't pitched up by 1 semitone like in-game.

I sent an edit to the admins fixing the "shine" labeling, they're actually the sounds for unlocking mission mode level 6 and ...the number after that.
why do the shine sounds sound like something from Mario Party 5, 6, and DS

literally as soon as you hear the main menu theme, you know you're in for an amazing time
There are two other variants of the Nintendo logo missing ( The "Yahoo" only heard in the original DS, and the other "Here-we-go" variant when you close the DS and open it again)

Man this music is so nostalgic it brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it
This game feels nostalgic after 8 years, my mom got me a 3ds in 2017 when i was 5, my first games where Mario Kart 7 & ds & mario 3d land, and when i beat those games, i feel like a pro gamer. Now i’m 13 and i beat those games again and now i feel nostalgic. Thank you Nintendo for making my childhood memories and Nintendo, when will Splatoon Raiders release?

1. Blue shells flying every 3 seconds in a single lap
2. Heavyweights playing the “shove toad off the map” game
3. Rainbow road. (Especially if RNG isn’t in your favor)
4. Red shell.
Unlocking all of the characters and kart choices was one SHELL of an experience for me.

Um, yeah, that's the SUPER MARIO KART leitmotif. It's been in all of them since SUPER MARIO KART.

The DDLC DS port was really impressive for the DS. I think the Touch Screen bonding minigames were a little forced but other than that it was a really great port.

150cc incorporates the Rainbow Road theme. There might be other differences, but I can't tell at the moment.
