2023-03-12: 23/03/08 This album now has all music tracks from Wave 4 added, (Wave 5 and 6 will be added in the future) a FLAC option, new album art, properties and tags on all files apart from the FLAC format, alternative songs (such as the Moon variant for 3DS Rainbow Road) will appear as the last songs in this album, song titles have been fixed and this album is now referred to as an Original Soundtrack rather then a Sound Selection. Issues regarding the volume of the first 8 tracks have also been fixed.

Description
This is the (Unofficial) Original Soundtrack for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's DLC; The Booster Course Pass. Nintendo released all 48 new/returning courses in 6 waves throughout 2022 and 2023 (alongside some other new not-music related features).
This Original Soundtrack just simply has each song from the Booster Course Pass, looped twice, and with a fade out. No frontrunning or final lap variants. All non-traditional variants (aka variants of courses that don't appear in every course such as an underwater variant) are all at the very end of the Soundtrack.

I have no idea wtf happened with the music I uploaded, there's so many errors that I could've sworn were never there but they are all thoroughly being worked on right now, and I'll soon be uploading the OST with fixes, only 1 album art so that the album art is applied and a FLAC variant

Yeah I didn't have time to do the mono conversion this weekend and I won't have time for the rest of the week but I'll try to work on it when I can, idk if the audio is actually "broken" though it seemed fine to me

What is the best DLC song currently?
I think, either Sydney Sprint, DK Summit, or Yoshi's Island.
The true best one is gonna have to be Vancouver Velocity when it releases or maybe Wii Rainbow Road if that is added too.
All of those songs are fire. I think I like the Vancouver Velocity track is my favourite because it's the only Tour track I've actually been to
tracks 25-32 are the only ones I believe, which are in stereo in the separate wave 4 album. I would put them in myself but I don't know if it would let me change the album

And with Wave 6 released, it's the end of an era. From its initial launch on the Wii U back in May of 2014, through the initial DLC in 2015, the Deluxe version released for Switch in 2017, and the Booster Course Pass DLC that started back in March 2022, Mario Kart 8 has lasted for nearly 10 years.
Probably the biggest mainline Mario Kart game to date.
A couple of the songs are uploaded in mono instead of stereo, primarily in Waves 4 and 5

It is my favorite way to listen to Deluxe's original OST as the frontrunning beat adds so much to each track. I would love it if someone were able to do that for the BCP's music, though I know it would be a lot of work.

Just reminder volume is low on Tour Amsterdam Drift, GBA Riverside Park, Wii DK Summit, Yoshi's Island, Tour Bangkok Rush, DS, DS Mario Circuit, Singapore Speedway, Goal (Yoshi's Island), Results (Yoshi's Island), Tour Singapore Speedway (Chinatown). supposedly they're in mono instead of stereo. Thanks! I would like to see a forth turning of this album, like plays the song once, than on the second run it's the forth turning.

I'm just about to travel pretty close to Vancouver (Langley for Track Provincials) and I've been there a few times, so it'd be really neat if a Vancouver course from Mario Kart Tour made it into the Booster Course Pass

Yup! With proper tags, a FLAC option and new Album Art
Hey y'all, just a little update on this OST! Sometime shortly after Wave 4 releases, I'll be updating this OST to have all the music tracks from Wave 4, but each song will also have their tags edited, (including built in album art and other general info) and I'll also have a FLAC option available. Sadly, the FLAC option won't have tags on them besides the album art.
I don't get why they didn't just call it: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Full Soundtrack. Like it was that simple!

Oh no I didn't realize that was from that album! I had earlier downloaded that OST just to listen to it before I planned on uploading the OST, and I meant to have my own copies of the songs in my upload. I probably got the files mixed up, I'll fix this once I can.

I know this is kind of premature, but when Wave 4 rolls around can we place it before the Rainbow Road moon variant? I want to be able to listen to all of these without having to skip a track.
Hmmmm, I totally get what you mean, so possibly! It kind of goes against how I wanted these tracks to be in chronological order but I could switch it up so all "Variant" tracks are at the end of the album.
