I guess it's because after super puyo puyo tsuu and super puyo puyo tsuu remix released on super Famicom they released it on tb-16 and and published by NEC

Personal Favorites: Title Theme [1], Mode Select [3], Floor 2 and 3 [5], Warning of Puyo Puyo [9], Ending [12]
Short and stupid, like how music should be. Several tracks sound beautifully mocking. Title Theme also sounds like something out of the 2000s. Overall, quite good. Thanks, Puyo Puyo!
