Description

Super Air Zonk is the sequel to the 1992 game Air Zonk, both of which are part of the Bonk series of games. As a sequel, Super Air Zonk contains all-new levels, assistants, and enemies, as well as a Red Book CD audio soundtrack consisting of rockabilly music. While the original Air Zonk relied heavily on parallax scrolling, Super Air Zonk has mostly single-plane backgrounds.

Personal Favorites: Stage 2-1 [6], Stage 5 [10], Ending [17]

The entire thing is quite well-made and sounds great. The quality of the rock is good. But while production values are high, it just doesn't quite reverberate and isn't particularly catchy, even if it sounds nice, and nothing quite reverberates like with the original Air Zonk. Vocals also mumble a bit. That said, the album is overall good, I just have to justify giving it a lower grade, despite the high production quality.
